Program Description
The Baylor in Maastricht program works with the Center for European Studies (CES) at the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands.  We accept 40 students every fall and spring.

*Every other fall, the program will only be offered for Pre-Med students with a minimum GPA of 3.5. The Pre-Med program can accept up to 40 students.

Baylor in Maastricht is one of the oldest and most popular study abroad programs at Baylor.  Students study through the Center for European Studies (CES) at the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands.  Courses are taught Monday-Thursday.  The last 2-3 weeks are set aside for individual travel around Europe.

This Program is designed for the student with a desire to have various cultural experiences.  Students will be given a 3-month Eurail pass which is good in over 20 European countries.  Classes run Monday-Thursday, giving students long weekends for travel.  The last few weeks are set aside for travel.

Students will choose courses taught by both Dutch professors and the accompanying Baylor program director and will earn 14-15 hours of academic credit. (All courses are taught in English.) In addition, students are also able to travel to major city centers in Western Europe, such as Amsterdam, Paris, London, Berlin, and Rome. This is provided by a 3-month Eurail pass which is good in 20 different countries: from Spain and Italy all the way to the Arctic Circle.

As a group semester abroad program, Baylor in Maastricht creates a unique community atmosphere. Participants will travel with other Baylor students, a graduate assistant, and a Baylor faculty member.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
