Baylor in Florence
Baylor in Tuscany

Locations: Italy (Florence, Rome, Venice, Siena, and Assisi)

This is a full immersion program in Italian language, literature, art, music, and history. Students will take two courses in intermediate or advanced Italian. Course offerings include Italian 2310 and 2320 (2nd year grammar, reading and conversation), and two upper level Italian courses, Italian 3320 (Conversation and Compostion in Tuscany), and Italian 3348 (Florence and Its Cultural Treasures). Afternoons are generally reserved for group visits.
Students will take day-long trips to the cities of Siena and Assisi. In addition, the group will take an over-night excursion to Venice and will spend the last three days visiting Rome. In Florence, students will have the opportunity to visit major museums and points of interests such as the Uffizi, the Palazzo Vecchio, and the Galleria dell’Accademia, and to take cooking classes.
